- Who are the Power Walk classes good for?
- Why walk for exercise?
Brisk walking on a regular basis will keep you fit enough to participate in other activities. BRISK walking is what makes
this workout effective--we're not just taking a stroll (though a stroll around the block is good, too!).
- What kind of strength training is added to the walking workout?
triceps will all get a great workout. Ladies, no need to worry...you won't become "bulky" with strength training.
Quite the opposite, actually. Five pounds of muscle has a smaller area than five pounds of fat. The result? The strong,
lean look you want!
- What equipment do I need for the class?
I supply the resistance bands needed for the strength training portion of the workout.
- What if I've never worked out on a regular basis?
